A Note From the Administration:::
Yes, there is discussion about making a new forum and a deviantART club. If this does happen, all role-plays, all posts (other than any spam/chat threads, which are pretty unneccesary) and such will be backed up by Lor, though it is recommended that you back up your posts on your own, too. PMs will be lost and such, though. If a new board is made, your post count and your Karma /should/ be restored. That's just about it for now. Thank you.

25th of April, 2009 | | I figured I'd post an update. I changed the Admin note, since the other one was old, and because the Admin who posted it isn't really Admin anymore. Also, I just wanted to have any clarifications on teh whole moving thing be updated. I'm wondering about our freewebs... CHanging the codes on like every page has gotten really annoying to Ghost and I; we need to learn how to make codes global so we don't have to update each and every page. Dx Anywho, I'll be posting updates on this whole moving thing, and I'm sure Ghost will, too.

April 1st 2009 | | Happy April Fools Day, Cursedlove members =) First of all, we have a new board dedicated entirely to plots, so go ahead and check it out. It's pretty neat. We're really starting to get back into the swing of roleplaying here at Cursedlove, (especially in Poth) and this means that we need even more advertising efforts to get more members. So hopefully April will continue to be filled with our ever-growing activity. Thank you to all the members as well as all the staff for their hard work. Everyone have a great April (April showers bring May flowers, so hang in there), and try to avoid those pranks ^^

March 8th 2009 | | We're springing ahead, to all those that are affected by daylight savings time. Spring breaks are approaching rapidly, finishing even more rapidly, and occurring as we speak. This means that hopefully Cursedlove members will have a little more time to relax and get away from the stresses of school, family, and everything else in life. It also means that Cursedlove will most likely be even more active. Especially with the new members we're getting. (Everyone be sure to give a warm welcome to our newest members ^^) Now, as many of you have probably noticed, we have had a change in the administration powers. Meaning that Ghost and Lor are now the admin. They will be sharing the administrator account to keep Cursedlove alive and well. So everyone be sure to thank them for their hard work and dedication. Also, don't forget to advertise. Everyone have a good March =)

February 18th 2009 | | Another new month... First of all, happy birthday to Cursed Love! As of today, we are two years old. Thank you to all the staff, as well as all of our members. Without everyone we would never have reached this point. Thank you all so much and I'm sure that our second year will be the best we've ever had. We'll get to advertising, start having new and active members, and then those roleplays will start up again. I hope everyone has a good February, and good luck to all those with overwhelming classes, families, relations, or other situations. We're all here to support eachother. ;Passion

January 22nd 2009 | | Okay... My first news update: Happy late New Year to everyone on Cursed Love ^^ If you haven't noticed, we have a really great new layout courtesy of Ghost. Please be sure to thank her for all of her hard work. Right now we're in a bit of a lull, but I'm sure that as soon as finals are over, and school becomes a little bit less intense, we can all start advertising and get lots of new members. To all new members, welcome ^^ Read the rules, and have fun =)

31st of December, 2008 | | (Make that 4 updates in a month) Well, it's almost 2009, and only two months away from CursedLove's second anniversary. Make sure to post in the party Sheik mentioned in the last update. I also advise you to take her advice on mysterious presents.
Anywho, with the closing of the year (and Nicole's birthday being today), let's celebrate the last bits of 2008 before we jump into the next year, which will host the 100 Themes Challenge, our Calendar Project, (hopefully) the newsletter, and a lot more roleplaying. Let's try and advertise in 2009!

12-28-2008 | | (3 updates in one month? A new record) Christmas has ended, and the New Year's coming. Winter Break's probably starting to fade into a closing for some, so now's a fairly good time to get back to posting, if you haven't already done so, particularly since there's a party being hosted in Poth right now (beware of any suspicious gifts/presents and mistletoe).

December 14th, 2008 | | Happy Holidays to everyone from Cursedlove, the countdown is on! We hope now that school is out (for most of you) the posting of profiles and posting in the war will be more frequent. We're still making a few staff decisions on some subjects, but please make sure to advertise our site (in a good way, of course). So please, have a good Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or Winter Solstice (for people who don't celebrate any Holidays)

November 4th, 2008 | | To all those Americans here on CL, it's election day! Time to pick someone else to ruin the course of the world! Now, I think I speak for everyone when I say that sharp-tongued political /argument/ will NOT be tolerated. At all. Debate would be fine for all of us - a healthy debate makes a healthy mind.
On another note, we STILL need people to post in the war! I know I'm busy, and I know you all are busy, too, but please, everyone, let's try.

October 6th, 2008 | | Many schools are letting out for fall break right about now (or are about to), so I hope we all can expect more activity in the next few weeks. Don't forget to resubmit your character profiles, by the way. I'd urge you to advertise, but we're still in the process of rearranging stuff.

September 13th, 2008 | | Insert decent update introduction sentence here. (Moving on) Many changes to the site are being planned out; most notably, the upcoming change of villages. All profiles have been moved, and approval by certain staff members of any and all characters is required.
The school year has, inevitably, drained the majority of our formally-available time; if you need to hibernate from the site to avoid falling behind (or catch up), it is understandable.
...Of course, you can always listen to Lor's suggestion about forgetting homework, however I'm not encouraging it. u_u Insert decent update closing sentence here.

September 7th, 2008 | | Time for my totally useless Update that'll tell you everything you already know. :D School's tying me up, but I'm managing to find some free time. We've been trying to spruce up the site more and make it more appealing, and I definitely need you guys' reviews on my Crossword Puzzle Test. I'm planning on making other puzzles, and I'm going to learn to make Flash games in the hopes that we could have simple little things that you will somehow find addicting. Yay, how exciting. >> Also, listen to our last update by Sheik and post in the war. Forget homework! >D

August 25th, 2008 | | The school year is starting and has already started for many members on the site now; hopefully, school duties won't stress or overkill anyone with tedious assignments and schoolwork this year. But while we're all getting ready for classes, ideas for new villages and such are being panned and prepared. Forums on the site have been rearranged and added, so threads should be more organized now. The war is still going on, so be sure to participate and post!

July 29th, 2008 | | Whoo, the Cbox is being a bee-otch at the moment, so the messages keep getting deleted for some reason. It must be something to do with the Cbox site 'cos the same is happening back on Nozomi. Don't worry about it, the Cbox folks'll get it fixed soon. {P.S. - CDT needs more members in the war! Don't forget to sign characters up with them, too!}

July 25th, 2008 | | Before I start out, YES, I do in fact realize I made a typo in my name last week. xD Thank you Lor, Sam, and Wolfur for pointing that out to me. You may have noticed that the logo and quite a few site images have been changed - and TOTALLY for the better. I lied last week, too. We have no sidebar and the war info is to your RIGHT. Bwahaha. I lied to you all.
Shoot me. I managed to make Cursed Love poof (simply by leaving out a "< / style >" tag - how stupid can you get?), and although it's fine now, PLEASE tell me if something isn't working right for you.

When they thought it had all ended. . . .
it had only just begun.

Tick. Tick. Tick. Tock. Tick....
The hands edged nearer to the numbers twelve and seven, inching sluggishly against the porcelain-tone clock face. The food was cooked, the decorations were hung, the tree was standing tall and bright, glowing Christmas lights poking out at odd angles alongside barber pole-striped candy canes. All that was needed was... a party. And for a party, you need guests.

She rearranged the Jumbo Crackotaffy and the Grape Butterzappers and the Hot Plum Boomnuggets and all the other oddly-named candies her brother-turned-sister had bought specifically as party snacks. Her hair had been pinned back to her head, concealed by a cozy white beanie. A few carefully styled black curls cascaded around her face, and one large section overlapped her golden left eye. Suna gently shook her wineglass, watching the liquor swish about before sipping from it. Naturally, she would begin drinking before the party had even begun. Anzai had gone out to pick up some "last-minute necessities" and so she was left alone to greet the guests as they entered.

Lovely.

The party. Oh yes,that's where he was heading. Then he remembered his goofily dressed cousin behind him, lugging the presents. He was talking his head off as usual, but Youji cared not to listen. He couldn't wait to get there, he tended to pick out the most simple things to drive him up the wall. The constant lull of his cousins voice, the mix-matched 'tap,tap,tap' of their dress shoes, and the shuffling of the boxes in his cousins arms. So,aggravating.

"YOUJI!!! Are you listening, I said you just walked passed the house!" He turned back to see Taiji staring at him at the base of a walkway leading to a house. "Right....." Was all Youji said. He made his way up to the walkway,letting his cousin lead the way. Honestly..... Neon purple for a suit color? And yellow shoes? Goodness.... He himself was sporting a a grunge-ish gray suit,with simple black shoes, he'd attempted and trying to comb his emo-ish hair to the side in some sort of neat fashion,he felt silly,but at the same time, hope it stuck. Taiji on the other hand hadn't even attempted to brush his hair.

"Ding,ding,ding,ding,ding!!!" He snapped from his thoughts,glaring at Taiji and slapped his hand away. "Cut it out!!! They'll hear the doorbell.... Sheesh." Poor,Poor Taiji,always being scolded by Youji. Taiji rubbed his hand,and pouted,for about a second,then he was all smiles again. Youji rolled his eyes. And they both stood,waiting for the door to be opened.

"Youji - Taiji!" Her lips parted in a small, open smile. "How've you been? Come in." Self-consciously, she pulled her hair back behind her ears. "Oh - Taiji, Anzai is out right now, but he-- she'll be back soon."

Youji's eye twitched in annoyance at Taiji's loud mouth,and complete disregard for the host of tonight's party. He shooked his head, and took the presents back from Suna. "orry 'bout that... You know him... Loud, rambuncious.......---" He was cut off by ANOTHER one of Taiji's stupid comments.

"Oooh,cousin. Don't be so cruel, just because I insulted your women, you gotta get your thong in a knot...." He laughed,as Youji waved a hand at him dismissively,and walked over to a table,picking up Suna's glass of wine,and drinking from it.


"Ugh. Idiot." Youji murmured. "Anywho,sorry 'bout that.... You look...Nice tonight. Might I come in?" He raised his present clad arms in a 'maybe,maybe not?' fashion,and peered at her with his head slightly tilted to the side.

"You may; thank you very much, by the way. Do you need help with those?" She paused, and then added, referring to Taiji's comment: "And a thong, Youji?"

Youji turned and looked over at Suna,and smiled. "Haha,yeah... Great...party...." He looked around. "Where are all the guests?"

Already she was walking toward the kitchen, since whether they wanted any or not, she could damn well do for another drink.

Taiji blinked,registering Youji's words, after he'd also finished his facade of laughing. "Suna's....? Is this your glass....?" He looked Suna's direction.. "Darn!! I coulda spit in it when she wasn't looking. . . . " He grinned,and went into kitchen also. "SUNA! I drank outta your glass....."

The house of her childhood had been rearranged since she'd moved out, but some things never changed. Anzai had left the photographs in their places: the family portraits lining the back wall, between the two grand staircases; the great tree that outlined the generations of the Fyderio family underneath; and the smaller, more recent photographs that sat haphazardly around the parlor. The portraits only portrayed the infamous six Fyderio siblings - Camath, Suna's own mother; her sisters, Amarea, Nemi, Felora, and Tarren; and the lone brother, Cinead - as well as the parents, Sal and Malse. The family tree showed each and every family member - whether they married in or were born into the family.

Youji spotted the pictures,and peered at them. His eyes fixated on the family tree. "Whoa....." Was all he let out as he saw the massive family. That'd be strange if...... His eyes widened. "No.....way......" He shook his head,and looked again. "Hahaha,no, not possible....Nope..." He backed up a little ways,and turned away from the pictures. He stopped,started to turn back around,but hurriedly made his way back to the table.
